By four in the afternoon evening was not far off, and a few lights were already shining in the windows when we visited the Rodin Museum. The park and the statuary around the museum villa were magical at that time of day. Giant plane trees leaves were scattered along the walkways, and a few roses were still in bloom. On the other side of the high garden fence, the dome of the nearby Hôtel des Invalides shone in the last light of the afternoon.

My son told me that a few days ago he was out mowing his lawn and less than twenty-four hours later was shoveling snow. As many times as we experience these abrupt changes in the weather in Minnesota, we still marvel at them. Having something to marvel at is not so bad.
